With the ongoing stressors of the pandemic impacting school, work and home life, many people are looking for ways to help revitalize their skills, reinvigorate their coping mechanisms, and optimize their performance. The new Morningstar Neurofeedback Clinic, 1901 Orange Tree Lane, Suite 220, is here to help in the Redlands area. The public is invited to its grand opening on August 5 from 4 – 7 p.m. Brief demonstrations of neurofeedback will be available during the grand opening.
Neurofeedback is a research proven practice with a history of success in helping people to:
• Improve academic outcomes and relieve symptoms of attention deficit/ hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
• Better manage their anger, anxiety, chronic pain, depression, sleep problems, and COVID related stress.
• Improve memory and cognitive functions.
• Reduce symptoms of trauma and PTSD.
• Improve business/executive functions such as critical thinking, proficiency, self-monitoring, and organization.
“Just as a person can train their body at the gym to achieve specific goals, a person can train their brain to optimize performance,” Dr. Connie McReynolds, licensed psychologist and President of the Clinic, said. “Whether at school, work, or home, neurofeedback can help individuals resolve a wide variety of conditions that limit them from leading their best lives.”
The Neurofeedback Clinic is a division of Morningstar Educational and Psychological Services. In addition to neurofeedback, Dr. McReynolds offers private therapy, consultation and career exploration/assessment. Dr. McReynolds brings 30 years of experience from public and private practice, academics, educational, vocational, and consultation services to Morningstar.
