Assistance League of Redlands

Nonprofit

Celebrating over 100 years of service in Redlands!
Assistance League of Redlands is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that puts caring and commitment into action through philanthropic programs in the Redlands, Yucaipa and Calimesa area. Member volunteers are dedicated to ongoing support and a long-term presence in the community through hands-on involvement and innovative philanthropic programs.

The Redlands chapter was organized in 1931, chartered in 1939, and was the 18th chapter of National Assistance League.

Assistance League of Redlands currently has 287 member volunteers working to make our local community a better place to live and work through our programs. Assistance League of Redlands supports seven community based philanthropic programs benefiting everyone from infants to adults. In 2017-18, our dedicated members volunteered over 31,810 hours. We encourage you to learn more about our chapter and the many ways you can become involved and make a difference.

The Thrift Shop located in Redlands is our main source of funding. The shop is staffed and managed entirely by our member volunteers. Donations are always welcome and are tax deductible.

Other funding sources include the Camellia Luncheon, an annual tea, corporate and private foundation grants, individual donations, and an annual Community Support Letter requesting monetary donations dedicated to Operation School Bell®.
