Hillside Memorial Park Cemetary
CemeteryHillside Memorial Park was established in 1886 by local pioneers Frank Brown and Edward Judson to serve the needs of the community of Redlands. The beautiful cemetary has been owned and operated by the City of Redlands since 1918. It is located in the southwestern section of the City in an area of scenic rolling hills and has been the chosen resting place for some celebrities throughout the years. Its grounds have an approximate 53 acres making Hillside Memorial Park the largest city owned cemetery in California.
Lovely Cemetery
For being a cemetary, Hillside Memorial Park in Redlands is actually in my opinion one of the most beautiful parks in town. Sometimes it’s nice to simply walk the grounds and look at some of the very old headstones. Its usually pretty cool because of the abundant amount of trees and all the shade they provide.
